We only give the critical dimensions.
A lot of our drawings are done so that if there are any variations in wood sizing the dimensions for the mortise and tenon joinery still work. When designing for variables in wood sizing it is best to only give the critical dimensions. Often if we give too many dimensions people tend to accidentally use the wrong one and no one wants to scrap a large timber because of a mis-cut. If you need us to verify any dimensions or double check anything else you see on the plans just let us know.
